However, it can be tough to be so unusual that it seems like no one will fully understand you.
Nevertheless, you make the world better though your uniqueness and others do recognize your gifts.
Do whatever kind of work you need to do in order to survive.
There's a lot of talk about good, bad, proper, skilled, and "unskilled," jobs out there.
Employment is already tough enough for nonbinary (and other lgbtq) people without worrying about what entails an acceptable kind of work.
Do what you want or whatever you can to bring in the cash you need.

Your existence as a nonbinary person is extremely important.
Unfortunately, your life is also a war, and every day you survive is a battle won against extremists. They would rather reduce humanity to fit their own small and fearful imaginings, than embrace the beauty in all of us.
I know that you didn't ask for this. I don't want a fight, either. At this point, however, it's our gift to the future to keep living and sharing who we are as nonbinary individuals.
Demonstrate that people are wild, wonderful, and complete as we are.

Nonbinary people have always had a presence in the many other branches of the queer/lgbtq community.
There have always been nonbinary lesbians, gay people, trans people, asexuals, bisexuals, and so many more.
To disparage any of those groups is to speak ill of nonbinary people. To scorn nonbinary people is to also hold any of those groups in contempt.
To have one you must be willing to accept the other.
