GryphonSKYou know, as I think back upon my youth, I realize that the TV show I watched at the youngest age probably was the one that most prepared me for adult reality: Scooby Doo.
Yes, I'm serious.
Think about it. Every episode ended with the real monster being a greedy capitalist, just like real life. They are the real monsters, and Hanna Barbara was trying to ingrain that into kids so we wouldn't end up like them, and I'm glad they did.
What puzzles me is the kids who ended up copying the baddies.

What an absolute giveaway in that closing quote - there's exactly one kind of person who would at this point continue to be supportive of billioinaires & that's the kind of person who DESPERATELY hopes to become one of them, or really just get a line into their wallets somehow.
