StefanoI really wish people would adopt Mastodon as their new social platform and not simply park a clone of their Twitter accounts on here. This makes Mastodon an after-thought and although at least it's reassuring to see that people are taken their first tentative steps towards Mastodon, for it to really gain traction and become the independent social network alternative, it must be wholeheartedly adopted. #mastodon #socialnetworks #twiiteralternative #noMoreTwitter

I left Twitter. I will not support Twitter while it is being run by Musk and his ilk.
Colin B.🇨🇦Heard a really great bit on "Alberta at Noon" today, on how technology is carefully engineered to keep your eyes on it for as long as possible.
It is the reason I'm OK with the fact that I'll likely never have as much constant engagement here as I did on that other site, and I'm good with that. Social media has entire teams of developers whose only job is to enrage you enough to stay on their site, and argue with people.
