A couple of weeks ago, I noted that I hadn't seen this many empty storefronts along Magazine between 9th and St. Mary in more than a decade. Walking home from yoga this evening, I counted 11 of them between 7th & St. Mary and could have missed one. I was not being super diligent. #nolasky

I don't think I've seen the stretch of Magazine from 9th to St. Mary with this many empty storefronts in the last decade. #nolasky It seems like there is a new one or sometimes two every week or two and they mostly don't seem to be getting leased back out.
