This is a Nolan movie without (I think) time warp, memory loss, et cetera. Instead, you get the blue-gray tint, brooding characters who think speaking louder than a whisper or mutter is improper, and cinematic effects trying to make up for bad writing. In short, everything you can expect from an English-language adaptation of non-English literature. I know judging a movie based on a trailer is stupid, but this is my honest opinion. I hope I'm wrong.

If a #movie is based on a character having a golden coccyx on the back of his head, it’s a sign the filmmakers have an ass instead of a head.

From The Dark Knight to Interstellar #Nolan made cinema breathe. The Odyssey trailer proved the opposite: when a director bows to Shakespeare and his long-dead buddies, he enters the realm of dead #art. No return from that shore.

Ideas are finished. Only pomp remains.

Do you still believe Elon Nolan will surprise us? This is not a rhetorical question.

I can't say #TheCriticalDrinker is right or wrong until the movie comes out...

It looks like this is a movie speared by Hollywood rather than Nolan itself. Who knows if it's a favor for someone at this point.
