As long as I'm able to exercise choice, I'll go for software that is more accessible, more secure, and whose makers are not trying to trap me into dependency in their product.

I was working solo today (my team mate had their WFH day) so had some music playing to break the silence.
I was using YouTube because it's the only "entertainment" site I can use through the work Network, although I wasn't signed in to my old Google account.
I was about to shut down my browser when I spotted the nearby #uBlockOrigin icon nearby. I nearly fell off my chair.

I'm looking for general views on a #Fairphone and how it lasts. I know you can replace (pretty much) everything about it, but after 2-3 years, is the OS just bogged down and unusable like on a 'normal' #android phone? I'm pretty much sold, but my Mrs needs a bit more convincing. Help me convince her!
