A man desperate for a new job decides to eliminate his competition.

Solid concept and strong performance by lead Lee Byung-hun.
But the script feels unfocused and Park Chan-wook’s direction messy. A prior adaptation of the source novel by Costa-Gavras had delivered a much more powerful movie.

Rating: C-

No Other Choice is a tale of two movies. I enjoyed the satire and slapstick-filled first half, less so its cold and didactic second half. Overall, the movie’s dizzying style and committed performances won me over. Recommended.

I've been to the #cinema twice in the past seven days, and each time, the tiny theatres were sold out.
It greatly enhances the #movie watching experience if you are in a room full of people who enjoy it together. Even if the room is small and there are only around 100 people.
Sunday I watched #NoOtherChoice and I really enjoyed it and its critique on capitalism.
Yesterdays #Hamnet was beautiful but did not catch my emotionally as it did others
