SvenI know next month is #noMowMay, but if I didn't mow my yard until next June I would of needed a machete. Last year, I don't think I needed to mow until May.

JamieAt least the grass is now part of the compost, where grass snakes have bred these last several years. Mysteriously some flowers escaped the lethal death-machine. Perhaps I'm just a poor driver? Although the Ragwort has it's own safety barrier! 😉

Damn, my wife has noticed that my version of "No Mow May" tends to start in early April. Have been cutting (most of) front "lawn", prior to her sister's kids expecting to play ball games on it next week.
She has also realised my "May" ends in what some boring short-lawn obsessives call "August" or "September". Who knew?!
JdeBPHistorical records indicate that this feast is not celebrated according to the Gregorian calendar. Maybe it is a lunar calendar thing.
