So, yeah I am realizing that Nitrux is not for me. There is something that is not clicking because the normal methods of giving Distroshelf or BoxBuddy permission to look at the file system or use a Flatpak terminal are simply not working. My mind is not a match for Nitrux and that is okay, I think it is really geared towards the developer motivated. I am not quite there yet.
As I didn't post: I experimented with several distros with varying levels of success...Most of them were doomed or fine, but my distrohopping demon was released from it's seal. ROFL I hate it here.
Solus, it is, I suppose. As I found that Fedora Kinoite 44 did something nasty, they linked rpm-ostree to Discover which is behavior I never wanted. Discover isn't very reliable for system upgrades, I'll handle that shit in a terminal, thanks! Discover is fine for app updates or whatever, normally (not always).
