Have you heard of Nisperos? Also known as the Japanese Loquat this Asian fruit was cultivated in Spain mainly from the 19th C. It is a main crop of our local town, Sayalonga. It's taste is escribed sweet-and-sour, a combination of citrus with peach & mango. But the only way to really know is to eat it - ideally while visiting us, enjoying it with a glass of our Ariyanas Naturalmente Dulce. Mmm
