Step into the nostalgic charm of Yanaka, one of Tokyo’s most atmospheric neighborhoods.

In this walk, I begin at Nippori Station, climb the famous Yuyake Dandan staircase, and wander through Yanaka Ginza shopping street which is lined with cozy cafés, handicraft shops, and local eateries. I also wander down Suzuran-dori – a smaller, alley-like shopping street just around the corner. From there, I explore side streets as I make my way back to the main shopping street.
