One of my favourite memories from our trip to the UK this past year. Tewkesbury Abbey in the Cotswolds.
We hadn't been back to the UK since 2007! Yes, just before the iPhone era unfolded. Back then we used "printed" Ordinance Survey Maps, direction of sun, and of course, just getting lost.

On our trip to the #UK earlier this year, we stopped in Carlisle, #England , which is located in #Cumbria. Never been there before. The Romans settled here, and called it Luguvalium.
Our little surprise was #CarlisleCathedral , which was a block away from our hotel.

The west end is mostly Norman #architecture , and the east end is entirely Gothic. The two sides couldn't be more different. Both are compelling in their own way.
We visited Western Hills Garden today, located just west of Occidental, California, in Sonoma County. Pretty lush area, one might think this was Oregon. :-)
It was a much desired warm and sunny day. Helps distract from a troubling week.
Vincent van HeukelumSucces! Combined my 3 camera's to act as one. Click of the remote makes all of them shoot, and pressing the shutter release on one makes all three take a picture. This setup is ideal for the sessions with falling water throwing paint/powder.

Hiking near Occidental Last Friday, on the way to the waterfall. Mountain streams were all flowing from recent rains. And so many! So many amazing forest rooms. It was a relatively dark day and didn't have my tripod.

About a week ago, we drove up to Gualala for two nights. We revisited Point Arena, which we really enjoy.
These three photos were taken down in the cove by the wharf. I think the plaque is quite timely, based on current politics.
All processed in darktable 4.81, which is the best version so far.
