My first Warhammer tournament
After years of collecting, I finally took my Nighthaunt to my first tournament
At today's #miniaturePainting night at @jungundaltspielt I just did a little something on the #nighthaunt ghost thingies (I won't even try to remember those stupid GeeDub names 😝), namely a drybrush on the base and wash on the metal parts.
The rest of the evening was assembling more of the spearhead box and nice talking with a fellow painter.
There might even be some relaxed #OnePageRules #GrimdarkFutureFirefight games upcoming soon 🙂 guess I should paint some of my #tau / #daoUnion
Three Nexuses of Grief ready for deployment
These turned out better than I feared, but I still don’t like painting terrain, it takes so long 🤣
Some progress is being made
@erikcats I'm not really completely happy about how the "ghost juice" turned out, but I'm only aiming for a "good enough for the table" standard and I guess they fulfill that.
Next: a quick & dirty drybrush, repainting the bases + give the metal some color
I also started on Miss Himfarothwen (yes I named her already - or more precisely gave her the name of an old LOTRO char of mine).
Reikenor the Grimhailer reporting for duty
I’ve wanted this model since I first took an interest in Nighthaunt many years ago, its nice to finally have him, he’s great
Guardian of Souls reporting for duty
Possibly my favourite Nighthaunt model
Dreadblade Harrows reporting for duty
The horses were a lot of fun
