With a loupe or naked eye, I could not see any alignment issues, but with a microscope, it was there (1st photo, and during the mid-adjustment 2nd photo).
With tiny adjustment, it's not perfect, but writes ultimately more silent and somehow wetter.
I'm happy with the adjustment I made (3rd photo).
Sunday nibmeister'ing 🤓
Recently I replaced My Pelikan M600 fountain pen's golden nib from Medium to Fine. I like the Medium nibs, but the Medium of Pelikan was writing like Double Bold.
The Fine nib was writing smooth, but somehow "noisy". It was not scratching the paper, and the feel was smooth, but something was off, it's like singing/screaming, like the tipping material was rough and unpolished.
