Scott Brown hits John E. Sununu as a “globalist” who “worked for the very same banks he bailed out” and questions “where’s he been for 20 years?” #NHSen
John E. Sununu says his ideal Supreme Court is “nine Scalias” and praises Kavanaugh, Alito, and Thomas — who overturned Roe v. Wade and tried to keep Trump’s price-hiking tariffs in place. #nhsen #nhpolitics
With some new polls showing John Cornyn in *third* place in the #TXSen GOP primary, we asked the singular Eric Ostermeier of UMN's Smart Politics when was the last time such a fate befell an incumbent senator. It's been a while: #NHSen Maurice Murphy took 3rd in a 1962 special election primary!
LISTEN: John E. Sununu says it's "just wrong" to save health care for 50,000 Granite Staters. #NHSen #NHpolitics
So, it turns out that this month's WikiProject NH popular pages report (for March, covering the February time period) just so happens to coincide with Sen. Shaheen's retirement announcement; I think this is generally a good list to consult to discover who has statewide name recognition, and thus might be able to run a statewide election here. Let's review the politics of the living people in the top 25:
- KKKaroline: will probably stick with promoting fascism from the White House (at least until she gets fired) instead of running for Senate
- Paul Michael Levesque, a.k.a. "Triple H": married into the McMahon family, and Linda McMahon is currently serving as Trump's Secretary of Education, so probably right-wing
- Sarah Silverman: Notable for being a Bernie surrogate who told the "Bernie or Bust" faction that they were being "ridiculous" at the 2016 DNC; she later returned to support Bernie in the 2020 primaries as well. I think she could probably do pretty well here if she wanted to run.
- Mandy Moore: Performed at the 2016 DNC, marched at the Women's March, supported Pete Buttigieg in the 2020 primaries... she could probably do pretty well here, too, if she wanted to run.
- Noah Kahan: I know nothing about his politics, but given that he's from the Upper Valley area, I'm guessing he's probably relatively liberal/left?
- Seth Meyers: I think he's a relatively normie Democrat, but I'm not quite sure
- Dan Brown: probably a bad idea
- Toby Fox: I know nothing about his politics, but based on what I hear about Undertale's themes of mercy, they're probably pretty good?
- Ludwig Ahgren: idk

White supremacist/neo-Nazi Ryan Murdough endorses Republicans Bolduc (#NHSen), Burns (#NH02), and Lang (NH State Senate, SD2): "I am voting for them because even though they might not come out & say it openly, they’re clearly standing up for White people in NH." #NHPolitics
@MarcNo I hope New Hampshire sends Maggie Hassan back to the U.S. Senate. Bolduc is bad news.

Don Bolduc has said:

-"Rejoice" at the end of Roe v. Wade
-"Get over" attacks on abortion
-Future of repro rights "belongs" to "gentlemen" politicians
-NH's abortion ban didn't go far enough

Bolduc's record makes clear he'd vote for a national abortion ban. #NHPolitics #NHSen
