Saw a feature on #NHKWorld about #Shosanbetsu, a village in #Hokkaido with a population of about 1000. There's only a single convenience store (#Seicomart), and no high school. The feature was filmed in the middle of a fierce winter, and locals were interviewed about their shopping and their lives there. It would be kinda interesting to trek to a #konbini during a blizzard, but the novelty would probably wear off quickly.

Or ... I just miss going to konbinis. 😢
