Budapest, 1935. This is still one the busiest intersections in Budapest: Blaha Lujza Square on one of the ring roads that circle the Pest part of the city. The building on the right with the tall tower houses the famous New York café. While still as beautiful as ever inside, it is now an expensive tourist place.
Note also the car driving on the left: up until 1941 Hungarian cars were right-hand drive.
