โ€˜I want some light in my lifeโ€™: eight writers make their new year reading resolutions

Finding fun, getting lost in an epic and taking a first peek at science fiction ... Sathnam Sanghera, Elif Shafak, Sarah Waters and more make their reading resolutions for 2024

The Guardian

Honestly I could add more, but character limits.

Silent in the Grave and Kushiel's Dart are both the first in series that I would heartily recommend in their entirety!

How to Talk to a Goddess is second in a series I would also fully recommend--I was a bit late to it as I hadn't realized it had come out a few years back!

Small Town Big Magic, A Rip Through Time, and Daughter of the Moon Goddess are also first in series but I haven't read the rest (yet).
