The climaxes in #ModernFamily, where everyone comes together to reveal their #neuroses to #comedic effect are no longer represent reality for most.

#Seinfeld is so far removed from reality its a joke inside a joke.

But they act as #hallucinations, people can live through their memory of those scenes.

Maybe they're a reminder of how to behave in social settings, but if that were the case they are not great examples, with outdated #consumeristic ideas, #highrise living glorification etc.
