Honestly, I would not trade Nic Claxton to the Charlotte Hornets. There is no guarantee that the #Nets will be able to draft Aday Mara, so trading away Claxton before knowing Mara will be available would be a risky move.

Claxton is already a proven NBA center, while Mara is still a prospect. For that reason, I do not agree with making that trade.

That would give Brooklyn a proven young player to accelerate the rebuild, while OKC could move up in the draft and target Aday Mara, a true center who could help them match up with the size of Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs in the Western Conference.
