Hi and welcome to my blog, I am “Pop’s the Passive Voyeur” and I am an Aquarist and tropical fish keeper, a grower of indoor bonsai, an amateur photographer and very occasional and not a very good artist I am also a passive voyeur of all things naughty, sexual, sensual, dark, spooky, cute & sexy..

So yes I have a number of varying hobbies, pastimes, whatever you call them, I guess my longest standing one is photography, I have been taking photos for a pretty long time but I am still very much an amateur and do it purely for my own enjoyment. I also took up art a little while back, I’m not particularly prolific and definitely not very good, but hey, when I do it I enjoy it 😁 I am also an aquarist and tropical fish keeper, I did this a long time ago when I was quite young and have fairly recently started it up again, and boy have things changed, I’m a beginner all over again. I have also very recently taken up cultivating indoor bonsai trees, this is very much still in its infancy.

OK, just to clarify what I mean when I call myself a “passive voyeur”, I enjoy viewing naughty, sexual, sensual, dark, spooky, cute & sexy things on the internet. I know this almost certainly makes me sound like a dirty old man and a weirdo but hey ho. You see despite the fact that I’m getting on in years a bit, I don’t have the best health (more on that later) and I’m divorced with no likelihood of becoming entwined in any form of relationship, I still have the same needs and urges that I would if I were younger and healthy. I’m not a fan of messaging, chat rooms and the like so I don’t like to get into talking about it either in a voice or a text form that only leaves me with internet voyeurism and the label of passive because I am friendly and safe and I have no compulsion to become involved in any way. I hope that makes sense without making me sound creepy 🙂

Regarding my health, I’m not what you might call in prime condition, apart from being 67 years old and feeling every day of it I also have health issues. I am a #HeartAttack and #TripleBypassSurgery survivor from back in 2018, left with a #heartcondition for which I continue to take various #medications. I also have #ChronicKidneyDisease ( #CKD ) coupled with a troublesome #Prostate that interferes with my #Bladder thus meaning I have a permanent #Catheter, I also need to take various medications for these issues. I have been in #IntensiveCare in the #hospital more than once.

I occasionally fall into my old habit of #Anxiety and #Depression, nowhere nearly as much as I used to, plus just to top it all off I have a bit of #Arthritis at the base of my spine which flares up now and again. My morning routine always includes taking my various medications, seven tablets every morning covering my health issues and I have appointments with the #Nephrologist and have #BloodTests every 6 months or so. Oh nearly forgot, due to both my main problems my #BloodPressure can occasionally get a tiny bit out of whack. But as bad as this all sounds I do get on with things and don’t do or feel too bad at all most of the time 😊👍

So this blog could have posts consisting of any of the above, either singly or in multiples, or it could be almost anything else, who knows this may turn into something like a journal or diary, I’m certainly not altogether sure which direction it is going to go in. Regarding my health, I’m not what you might call in prime condition, apart from being 67 years old (at time of writing) and feeling every day of it, I also have health issues. I had a major Heart Attack followed by Triple Bypass Surgery back in 2018, a nice spell in hospital including the Intensive Care Unit, I am left with a heart condition for which I continue to take various medications.

Next my Kidneys decided to stop working, another nice visit to hospital, including the ICU again with a nice session of Dialysis 😒 I was left with Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) coupled with a troublesome Prostate that interferes with my Bladder thus meaning that I have a permanent Catheter. I also need to take various medications for these issues and I have been in Intensive Care in the hospital more than once.

In addition I occasionally fall back into my old (long standing) habit of Anxiety and Depression, but nowhere nearly as much as I used to thankfully. Plus just to top it all off I have a bit of Arthritis at the base of my spine which flares up now and again causing me back problems.

My morning routine always includes taking my various medications, at this point in time that means seven tablets every morning covering my various health issues, sometimes I may add pain killers to that. I also have appointments with the Nephrologist and have Blood Tests every 6 months or so.

Oh nearly forgot, due to my main health problems my Blood Pressure can occasionally get a tiny bit out of whack resulting in dizziness 😏

But as bad as this all sounds I do try to get on with things and I think that I don’t do or feel too bad at all most of the time 😊👍
