Sunday, April 26th. The compost pile has been flipped to the west of the pallet sided bin. The compost pile is mostly browns. The last apples and brassica stalks of the fall 2025 season are still whole as the compost was frozen for months. The pitchfork is the right tool to fork and sift the lumpy materials.
