Today I met him on his way down his driveway, where he was about to dig up the little spruce tree that he pots and brings to our elderly neighbour every year, before returning it, in January, to its home in the ground. In all these years I didn't know he did this. Love is beautiful.

The woman downstairs had her boyfriend clear a beautiful path from her door to her car and not an inch more, so my path is still deep snow and ice and treacherous
Even in West Virginia- and every other state I've lived- neighbors help each other with clearing snow after a big snow storm
