Still struggling along with crocheting, while travelling by train and watching TV. I'm trying to make a simple black beanie, and I'm now on a row returning back. I'm trying to do an (American) single crochet in the back loop only, but I'm doubting if I'm inserting my hook into the correct stitch constantly... Any experienced crocheters here who can point me in the right direction?🧶 I indicated where I *think* I should go 😅

I've definitely crocheted too tight in that earlier row, too... That's hard to prevent, I'm finding!

🧶🧶🧶 FINALLY back in the saddle with knitting. Nasty old shoulder injury cropped up about a month ago. Ugh, soooo painful.

Started this new Stephen West shawl, #Icelandscape, only to realize I don't have enough yardage of colors, so am subbing in some solid sections which should work fine. It's good to have needles back in my hands, and to be back with all y'all!!
