I once read a novel called "Shibumi," which was defined as effortless perfection and the hero seemed capable of anything, the man you called to do the impossible, and I never realized how much I took that to heart because that seems to be my delusion, first I've analyzed and solved humanity's problems and I have to try to rescue dead guitars by doing what luthiers don't try to do, I seem to think I'm that guy, and whoa boy, is that a few degrees away from the reality 😂 😂 😂

well having tried to play a thing or two in open G slide tuning - the Keef tunes, I failed at Before They Make Me Run, but having some success at Happy - I finally see what a straightforward thing the first Tragically Hip song I ever heard is, Boots or Hearts, LOL.
.
It’s a bit funny sometimes working in an area you are not made for, I mean in an area where you’re flat out R-worded. I take the frustration, I may as well enjoy the humour in it, have a laugh at myself being the dog trying to learn relativity like the Far Side panel. 🙄🥹💜

One problem with this learning is that even if I play, I think I’m still losing my calluses 😜

yesterday was a rough day, the black dog was humping my leg all day
.
and it was weird that I managed to pick up the guitar and make some improvements to a few of those Dummies tunes at all but weirdly strange what is wrong about them too from being at my limit, mostly a bizarre rhythm, at once fast in spots and slow in others, keeping a sort of a steady long term rhythm while never being right in any given instant
