Hazzard notifications: #NBN are performing network maintenance Monday 6th July 8am until 11am AEST. Usually nothing happens because I’m on FTTP in a FTTN footprint but letting ya all know just in case.

NBN outage? Me too. Only 24 hours, and still counting.

For the past ten hours, the #NBN website for outages has bounced between:

A) Oops, our bad, we stuffed the network

B) Everything is fine, if your internet isn't working, that's a you problem

Why am I looking? Because our internet has been down for the past ten hours. Even when #NBN says it's working.

Our ISP? They're experiencing a high number of calls, and we gave up after 20 minutes of recorded "we value your call, just not enough to hire staff to answer your call, try our website".

My #ISP is offering to lock-in my monthly bill for 2 years, avoiding at minimum the upcoming $5/month increase for a one-off $25.
Good deal? I can still leave them in that time, but wouldn't get the $25 back. #NBN prices are only ever going to go up, yes?
