Being surrounded by greenery and a quiet environment can calm the mind and lower cortisol levels. This is due to the sensory experiences of nature, such as sight, sound, and smell, which help slow down thoughts and promote relaxation.

Today I took myself to a forest for some much-needed nature time. There’s a Save-On grocery store nearby so I stopped in.

They have a *huge* health section. The nutritionist came to see if I was finding everything + I mentioned I was happy to see the selection of brands.

I noted one for hot flashes + he was surprised I needed that. He said he thought I was 35 but I told him I’ll be 55 this year.

I love seeing surprised reactions to my age.
