People think it is dark in Lapland during polar nights, and maybe it is, but to me this is the most exciting time to spend up there. My other home is up in Pyhätunturi, Holy Hill, where the god-creature Huttu-ukko takes care of things. You better be in good terms with him 🤩. I think I am, as I get to experience Aurora borealis, the northern lights, every time I go up there. The scenery is magical these times.
My soul rests up there.
