@iwein And *yes*, everywhere in the world are people being interested in more #respect for living beings and #nature. They try to shift their perspective from #anthropocentrism and human hubris to #reciprocity.
I warmly recommend to read Robin Wall Kimmerer's Braiding Sweetgrass as an intro into a different way of thinking.
And even exams for professional gardeners e.g. in Germany, don't speak about pests or weeds anymore. Times are changing slowly.

"We are only a small population, a speck in the sand compared to some major continents in the world. If the speck in the sand can do this, then it can only be an opening for others around the world to do the same. Because without water, we’re gone. "

Today has so far been sort of a lazy, under the weather loss but I'm feeling a little better at the moment so I'm going to see if I can do a small walk/hike.

It was nice though, I did read and finish "Is a River Alive?" by Robert Macfarlane which I loved loved loved and HIGHLY recommend.

Well, maybe Mother Earth *should* be a legal entity in UK law!

They can’t think beyond a closed system economic model in which nature is an unbounded source of raw material and sink for our waste.

How the fuck do we get to sustainable living in harmony with nature unless we recognise nature’s inalienable needs in law?
