Sociologist Roger Yates went vegan in 1979, ran several "action groups" in the 1980s, served as the Northern Press Officer for the Animal Liberation Front, and now runs the Dublin-based Vegan Information Project, co-hosts Still Alive! with Ronnie Lee, and has a YouTube channel for The Vegan Time Tunnel.
