With our #nanopublications pilot project with @knowledgepixels and #Pensoft, we are giving #scientists the opportunity to publish #nanopubs alongside their standard research articles, as well as use the new-age format to evaluate & comment on #research #papers by others.

Introducing FAIR findings – Innovators and publishers join forces to make scientific articles' findings machine-interpretable

The first in a set of pilot projects initiated by Knowledge Pixels enables scientists to use journals recognized for their innovative practices from IOS Press (Data Science) and Pensoft (Research Ideas and Outcomes) to publish nanopublications linked to their scientific articles. Tiny snippets of what is presented in the scholarly paper will be thus made fully “understandable” by computer algorithms in addition to regular (human) users. As a result, pieces of information in the form of precise statements (e.g., medication X treats disease Y) will be delivered to the right person/machine in the right format almost instantaneously.
