Apart from #strudel, #nanoloop has the most fun workflow for me.
It is possible to write complete tracks from beginning to end.
But I consider it most fun to write parts that can follow up each other, forming a track, live. Then I can vary lengths, take away, add, change elements, use guitar/ eurorack FX, make one bank of track stems flow into each other.
The newest nanoloop 1 is a bit slow, but older versions and nanoloop 2 are very tight, so you can change timbres on the fly.
@RyanParsley
There is #Nanoloop.
The original version works with the Game Boy sound chip.
Nanoloop mono for the original Game Boy and Nanoloop 2 for Gameboy Advance use their own build-in synthesis capabilities.
With #nl2, you have the most space to write more material.
