So normally Fandom would’ve been a good bet. Until this particular project, I’d never used it for writing. But I’m working on a Nancy Drew story and the wiki for Nancy Drew on Fandom does a pretty good job of connecting some dots when I need a quick reference such as when a character first appeared in the series and such, because not all of Nancy Drew is in the public domain.

The right answer which did not win is History<dot>com. I don’t use that one ever for writing research or whatever. I do tend to read a lot of history, folklore, and other things, but not from there. Typically if I wanna really dig my heels into something historical, I read books.

Likely not. I’m writing a Nancy Drew horror mystery novella with queer and feminist themes, so yeah.

Reworking Nancy into a boy, for example, would completely dilute the themes and character interactions.

Recording a song for my Nancy Drew horror novella

Soon I will be headed to go record the vocals to this original rock ‘n’ roll song for my Nancy Drew horror mystery story. I’m gonna have a blast and I hope this song is something y’all enjoy hearing alongside the novella itself when it drops. Gonna try and make a point to get some pics or videos to share from the recording session.

I have to harmonize with myself at least twice during the recording session — the chorus will have a lot of my voice. 😂

One schizo thread for a riddle that didn't even make it into the final game. I feel like it's a ploy #HerInteractive made for making their trailer look "futuristic". Well, as a developer myself, I'll say that this poor attempt at mockery won't go unseen.

What you see here is some random snippet of FTP software written in Node.js. Whether it was stolen or not does not concern me (and believe me, I tried to find any matches with existing open source code on the Internet, to no avail). What concerns me is that they just had to obfuscate it - there is no reason for this whatsoever. No hidden clue in this, only a big ball of nothing.
