So far I’ve considered the name Bellatrix, since I’ve tentatively nicknamed her Belly. Because she has quite the belly, obvs. That might stick unless you fine people come up with a better alternative.

On this #Caturday, I present to you a random new cat. She appears to be living in my backyard and may be a stray. She looks young and slender, but with a suspiciously round belly. I haven’t been able to touch her, but she gladly eats (and eats and eats) the food I leave out. What should I name her, and how can I support her if she chooses to stay around?
Additional note: I have an elderly pit bull in the house, so catching her and bringing her inside isn’t a realistic option. I’m in Los Angeles, so the weather is mostly good and only drops to about 43°F at the lowest.
