I talked about the closure of the Jubilee Bridge in #Nairn in my last blog post but I've now seen photos from the initial inspection and it's rather more serious than I thought.

As you'll see the subsidence is down to several of the ferro-concrete(?) beams which hold up the bridge floor having cracked and one in particular is very bad.

I think we're lucky no one came to harm and I fear it may be some time before the bridge can be safely reopened.

My back garden this evening.
