The first time in a couple weeks that I made it to an #NAHL game for #hizzackySeason
Last night was an away game where we lost 3-6. Tonight is against the same team and, at the end of the 1st period, we are already down 0-5. (Backup goalie playing tonight)
Shots on goal are so close to even, too, with our 9 to their 10.
Of our top scorers for the season so far, only 2 are still on the team.
Holy buckets.

Austin's team has bright blue and yellow SPAM warm-up jerseys. I guess Hormel even bought them a new bus! I was hoping they'd wear those jerseys during the game!
They have 3 Swedes and twins from Belarus on their team.
Our two Swedes are out tonight: one with a broken thumb and the other replaced by a rookie goalie.
I forgot my ear plugs and am already regretting it. Plus, Austin's fans always bring loud-ass cowbells. 😫

Final home #hockey game of the season - and final game - for my local #NAHL team.
Far too complicated of math was necessary for them to get into the playoffs. Our opponents ALSO did not make it to the playoffs.
At the end of the 1st period, we are up 2-0 with 16 shots on goal to their ... 4.
Highlights include:
* their 'A' already kicked out for unsportsmanlike conduct
* their coach volleying the f-bomb back and forth over the penalty boxes with one of OUR players
