Mastodon is very bad at fetching YouTube previews. Often, the only way to find out what the linked video is about is to click into the post, and sometimes the link is still just a link unless I force a refresh.
Only then do I learn I've wasted my time and effort on something for which you couldn't even be bothered providing a bit of context.
The way it loaded the full-length view of the front page, and the clickable styles at right, dynamically change the styles.
