I finally switched the default account for new contacts from #Google to "device". Then I moved all Google contacts to device using #MyPhoneExplorer. That somehow created 99 duplicates in my #Thunderbird with the next sync. Since MyPhoneExplorer can also remove duplicates from there, it was just another sync cycle, before everything as good again. This such a good piece of software and for sure worth a donation!

J'ai pas pour habitude de recommander un logiciel propriétaire à la place de #OpenSource, mais je dois reconnaître que #MyPhoneExplorer m'accompagne depuis plusieurs années et je n'ai jamais rien eu à y redire.

C'est un logiciel/application pour #Windows & #Android et ça permet la synchronisation des contacts, messages, calendrier, notifications et Fichiers.

Ich möchte den Laptop auf #Linux umstellen und dabei einen Android/Outlook-Kalender (beides offline) synchronisieren (bisher: #myphoneexplorer)

An sich scheint das ja möglich aber es sollen die Kategorien und Farben der Einträge mitgesynct werden. So fällt #Thunderbird leider aus.

Ich hatte auch schon #Nextcloud mit #CalDAV auf #Raspberry versucht, aber ein Update hat mir alles zersch*ssen und ich kam nicht weiter.

Hat jemand eine Idee oder ein ähnliches Problem?

Den Abgleich von Kontakten/Adressbüchern zwischen Android und Thunderbird via MyPhoneExplorer unter Windows mag ich sehr. Ich hab immer automatisch mehrere Backups.

MyPhoneExplorer läuft auch mit Wine, aber natürlich nicht mit dem Thunderbird-Abgleich. Vielleicht eh was antiquiert. aber wie dann elegant?

Vielleicht zu CardDAV in Thunderbird wechseln und https://github.com/sabre-io/dav (lokal oder Synology)? Andere tolle Ideen?
