Lindsay and I met a year or two before high school (2001-2005), although many people told us that we went to preschool together. We’ve bonded over so many songs, shows, and other things. To this day, even when we’ve seen each other, we talk on the phone every night. She is my person. Fast forward to 2015, when we meet our friend, Maria. We didn’t see bonding with anyone else, until we met her. We all love Grey’s Anatomy and have a blast when we get together.
Our friendship has been a journey since the very beginning. Lindsay and I were always close, but it wasn’t until Maria came into our lives that we truly became an inseparable trio. The three of us have been through it all, and we have each other to lean on no matter what.One thing that always brings us together is our love for Grey’s Anatomy. We could talk for hours about our favorite characters and plot twists. And when we’re not discussing our favorite medical drama, we’re usually reminiscing about old times and the memories we’ve shared.
But what makes our friendship so special is how we’ve been there for each other through the toughest times. We’ve experienced love and loss together, and in those moments we always have one another’s backs. Our bond is unbreakable, and we know that we can always count on each other.
As we celebrate Best Friend Day, I couldn’t be happier to have these girls by my side. Lindsay and Maria truly are my family, my confidants, and my Twisted Sisters. Here’s to many more years of friendship and love. Cheers!
