18/11/22, 5th day of #Covid, my vulnerable daughter got a generalised #myoclonus which is only now becoming slowly better. Light & movement trigger strong jerks, the cramping of her torso induces vomiting, the muscles & bones hurt after weeks of #spasms. She lives in darkness. Prednisolone & staggering amounts of #melatonin are the only treatment.

My SO had caught Covid, from a maskless coughing man on his train.

The #mask mandate in trains has now been abolished. #SchwereSchuld

For what it's worth, after sitting there 4,5 hrs I got to take our daughter back home, drugged to the nines, because it's #postCovid #myoclonus and "we cannot help her". We're to go on with #darkness, #painkillers, and incredible dosage of #melatonin. Hopium.
I'm starting her on #Nattokinase. I've had it.

Local #Uniclinic #ER #WaitingRoom. Admittedly it's 5 am but there is only one man waiting with me. I'm relieved but on the other hand puzzled. I had been expecting infernal overcrowding. #Pandemic We're here because of my daughter's #postCovid #myoclonus

Missed start of first #LongCovid #congress in #Germany: my own #Covid kept me in bed, &nursing my daughter who developed #myoclonal jerks and vomiting from Covid took up the rest.
I'm treating the #myoclonus with oral #Prednisolone, potassium, Vit B and #BacopaMonieri, darkness & quiet. I hope to prevent having to hospitalize her. Will consult with our GP on Monday.
