Daughter #Covid + day 10 of infection. Still in a dark room in bed, upped the #melatonin as last night #myoclonal vomiting for 2 hrs. We are giving her high calorie liquid food now as anything drunk or eaten after 1 pm is vomited out 5-6 hrs later.
I'm drained fighting. I have no idea how she manages non-stop in the dark but light triggers jerks & spasms that are horrific. "I guess Covid is really a bat disease mum and so I'm a bat now, flapping in the dark."

Missed start of first #LongCovid #congress in #Germany: my own #Covid kept me in bed, &nursing my daughter who developed #myoclonal jerks and vomiting from Covid took up the rest.
I'm treating the #myoclonus with oral #Prednisolone, potassium, Vit B and #BacopaMonieri, darkness & quiet. I hope to prevent having to hospitalize her. Will consult with our GP on Monday.
