to elaborate on "guns in 11h are literally just aurafarming":

11h's magic system works on what I call a "clash system". basically, you can win any single clash by just putting more mana into your attack than your opponent puts into defense, or vice versa. if you have more mana in your shield than they have in their attack, there's just no way for them to break through unless they put more mana in. this makes mundane weaponry pretty useless, you'll never be able to overpower the most basic defensive magic with a mundane weapon, it'll just get deflected. so 99% of weapons that see actual use are magical constructs of some variety.

but the thing is, you can easily cast ranged magic without using anything, or just using whatever melee weapon you already have. so a construct gun just takes up one of your free hands for almost no benefit. the only conceivable benefit would be easier aiming, maybe. which means that using a projectile weapon is entirely just aurafarming, it provides effectively no benefit besides looking cool. which, you have to admit, is pretty important for a Knight.

Have I asked you about transportation in your world? If not, please talk about that, I'm a big transportation nerd. But also, infrastructure broadly - plumbing? Electric? How widespread is power, and where does it come from? Residential heating systems? Listen-

hmm… the most interesting universe to talk about here is probably Eleventh Hour. in it, mana is roughly equivalent to crude oil; it's a natural resource extracted from the ground that needs to be processed into a usable form. the mana that comes out of the ground is white, but processing splits it into red, green, and blue (though you also usually get some impure shades from normal processing, big corps will process that again a couple times until they're left with mostly pure RGB). red mana = attack, blue mana = defense, green mana = healing, general utility, everything else really. you can also blend the colors again and make different shades, but it gets a bit weaker, and combining all three back into white makes magic cast from it weak enough to be useless.
i imagine that a lot of things are powered by mana, the vast majority of green mana is used in industry (so it's somewhat hard to get your hands on pure green mana, most mana processing corps will only sell pure green to other corps in bulk; it's just not profitable to sell it to individuals or even Knights. teal or cyan or other green/blue blends are pretty easy to get though). most electricity is generated using magic, it's more efficient than any mundane methods and doesn't pollute (of course, mana extraction itself is probably the largest source of pollution in the world). everyone's going to have electricity unless they're specifically trying to live off-grid, it's pretty impossible to live without a couple devices that track your every move. i think that the climate is pretty fucked, so there are fairly extreme seasons even if snow hardly ever reaches the ground. but i imagine that the average person isn't really wanting for basic shelter needs like heat/ac/plumbing. they might not have control over their heat and ac without paying up so it'll probably be just a little uncomfortable most of the time but you aren't going to freeze or die of heatstroke in your own apartment without extenuating circumstances. corporations generally want to keep people alive so they can sell them more shit.

AS FOR TRANSPORTATION: teleportation magic exists, but it gets incredibly expensive to teleport any reasonable distance. it's only practical in combat. it'd take gallons and gallons of mana just to teleport halfway across the city, and it increases exponentially. so teleportation is pretty much instantly out, it's just too expensive for anything other than quick dodges and *teleports behind you*.
the main transport that the average person uses is going to be trains. they'll commute by train, and if their job is on a large corporate campus, there'll probably be some light rail on-site. if they need to get somewhere without a train station that's also too far to walk, they'll probably ride in a self-driving taxi. cars aren't terribly common, the average person doesn't know how to drive nor do most people own cars. cities are fairly walkable but some roads are dedicated to cars. even if you are driving, you'll still have to walk some, you can't get most places by car alone.
in terms of long-distance transport, there's definitely a nice high-speed rail network going between major cities. air transport definitely exists, but it's less common than trains. also imagining just a regular plane in this world feels wrong so they're probably not regular planes lol. most air transport is probably cargo but there are consumer airlines.

app.wafrn.net

anyway though a quick rundown of each of my worlds: @lilou-the-worldbuilder
Sedgeverse (name not final): college students doing magic research n shit. main character Sedge is a plant mage that created an artificial body for himself out of plants and then used magic to transfer his consciousness into it. it's my newest universe so questions about it would be swag
Sylvolaia: magic fae realm exists alongside normal modern world. and the fae can make contracts with magic creature to gain powers, usually changing their appearances in the process (so like you could make a contract with some kinda fish creature to get water breathing, but then you'd get gills and scales too)
Hue Shift: modern world with object head robots that just kind of appeared one day and they just do that and no one knows why. also the main character Chroma is a tv head and unfortunately it has to eat people to live for some reason
Argentum Antipodes: vampires exist and usual rules around their visibility in silver are inverted (so they can only be seen in things containing silver). black and white film has silver in it. the popularization of color film photography broke the masquerade and revealed vampires to the public. vampires steal/destroy film negatives to try to keep their identities secret. this one actually has a story attached it's basically a historical fantasy detective story and heist story.
Travelerverse: funny post-apocalyptic fantasy without humans. magic items called Relics exist that are magic versions of everyday items
Ryva: science fantasy world that i don't really care about at all anymore
Gamemaster: okay this one is just a character but it's a goofy little tv head that hosts a danganronpa-esque killing game with contestants that it kidnaps from across the multiverse
Kiro: another character, this little guy is a funny little psychic animalbeast. very magical girl mascot adjacent. he can shoot beams from his tail and pick things up with his mind and open a portal so a kindof pocket dimension and such. he is just a little guy.
