This weeks #Lego #FossilFriday is #Muttaburrasaurus.

In 1963, Doug Langdon found a partial skeleton near the Thomson River not too far from the town of Muttaburra. It was collected by Dr Alan Bartholomai and entomologist Edward Dahms.

I was prepared slowly and carefully over the following years. In 1981, Bartholomai and Ralph Molnar named it Muttaburrasaurus Langdoni, after the town, and person who found it.

In 2022 Muttaburrasaurus was named the State Fossil Emblem of Queensland.

I was at #Brickresales earlier today and I got hit with some inspiration for my Lego #Muttaburrasaurus #LegoMOC for the book. 5 hours later, and I had a semi-decent looking model.
Well now I have the digitized it, and refined it a little.
Well here are the references for both, and the render for both the fossil and the model.
Colour version in my response.
I am open to any and all feedback.
I would have #Australotitan #Muttaburrasaurus #Ferrodraco #Quinkana and lastly #Megalania
I know #australia centric, but I can do others later if I want to haha.

This weeks #Lego #Dinosaur of the week will be #Muttaburrasaurus

Each build come with a fact sheet, and parts list.
