"Eye movement in music reading is an extremely complex phenomenon that involves a number of unresolved issues in psychology, and which requires intricate experimental conditions to produce meaningful data.

Despite some 30 studies in this area over the past 70 years, little is known about the underlying patterns of eye movement in music reading."

Eye movement in music reading - Wikipedia

Hi, can anyone help me in my music notation learning journey? Finding the good and free/cheap ressources are difficult. I'm starting by myself and will get some distance ressources in some time but I'd life to work on reading music alone

This is a pretty nice free set of beginner music-theory lessons! I haven't read through the whole lot, but the ones I've read have explanations, examples and little quiz questions. Thanks to the author for providing this useful resource.
