For my amazing band of musicians, this is just another day's work, accelerating early career stuff, but for way-elder me, this is not just "among the Last Times", this is a dream come true, 10am tomorrow truck downtown to record MY band, at fucking ska-legend Kensington Sound where I studied studio engineering 45 years ago, and record ON THAT SAME 100% ANALOG GEAR, recording these amazing (grammy-class) kids'n'me in basically Rudy Gelder BlueNote style: set 'em up, roll 'em Jimmy, and knock 'em down, two count 'em two takes, Di-rect to Revox reels that I get to hold in my hands and take home.
