Excellent gig in York last night from #Rush tribute act Moving Pictures. First-class #musicianship throughout over two and a half hours of music in two sets, the second being based on the performances from Exit Stage Left.

Highlights for me were probably Between The Wheels in Set 1, blistering renditions of Freewill, Tom Sawyer & Xanadu in Set 2, and Marathon from the encores.

Can highly recommend this experience to any Rush fans out there.

Just learned that the #90s local band Kitchen Sink’s recorded stuff was recently re-released.

I used to play bass in the band. Later Tero-Petri Suovanen (of https://limonadielohopea.com & https://tero-petri.com fame) took over. I wasn’t in the band anymore when the recordings were made… but this bassline of mine survived mostly unchanged to the recorded version:
