This was the most fascinating for the children: You can collect tiny scraps (paper or fabric) only because you like their colour or texture. And then you can value them, give them your own story with wild stitching.
I'm already thinking about children's workshops for our summer holiday program ...

๐งต 1/3 As you told me before, my very first workshop with children (9 yrs old) in our heritage centre was perfect. It was such a joy to experience what most adults suppress: #enthusiasm, #curiosity, #passion to #experiment, thirst for #learning, and #spontaneity. I learnt at least as much from the children as they learnt from us.
My fear of having to keep an eye on everything was unfounded.
