Considered a hike in Marin yesterday, but when we arrived mid-day it was about 80 degrees and motivation fizzled out. There was dense marine layer on the coast so we went to Muir Beach. It was starting to burn off even as we arrived, and the sun was out when we left.

Visit, #ShirleyBC - between #Sooke & #PortRenfrew & stop at #MuirBeach 👍Walk along beach until you reach the #fossils 😊 There's lots of shell, fish & other animal fossils visible here & more if you bushwack along the river(trails are all overgrown, bring a machete). There's also resident otters that live here & it's fab for birdwatching too.
