Grabbed the dog and off we went!
Did five miles in the hills of Mt. Diablo (~1000 feet of climbing), and had a great time. Afterwards they took me to https://mexxis.com for lunch.
Most of the green is gone from the grass on Mt Diablo and the foothills.

A curious #hummingbird gave me a good, long look-over halfway up #MtDiablo as if to ask, what are you doing here? Mating checkerspots tussled. Saw my first swifts in the wild.
