Co-worker sends me a .ppxt, that I need elsewhere, in MS Teams. Since I don't do this often it took me forever and ended up going via OneDrive to find a simple download button. I did find one in Teams but it wanted to turn it into a .pdf, why? And it's just five pages/slides with simple information in it, yet still it is 22Mb, in them there olden times it would have been 1.5Mb max.
I know it is not the future with jet packs that we were promised, but pretty please give us a Save to Disk button and don't fill files with crap.

Zum Gedanken von MS Teams als "Betriebssystem im Betriebssystem" drängte sich mir die Frage auf: Existiert eigentlich noch ein "reines Office Betriebssystem"? Das also ein quasi in sich geschlossenes, aber hochintegriertes Ökosystem von ausschließlich Büro-Anwendungen ist? 🤔
Mir ist völlig klar, dass so ein OS Nachteile hätte! 🫣 Ich könnte mir aber vorstellen, dass manche Arbeitgeber es dennoch erstrebenswert fänden, wenn die Arbeitnehmer auf dem Rechner überhaupt nur das tun können, was sie sollen 😅

Dneska jsem chtěl trochu zabrouzdat do historie mé konverzace s vedoucím Bakalářky, kterou jsme vedli v Microsoft Teams, jakožto oficiálním školním kanálu.
Bohužel tím že jsem s dokončením balkánského studia studium ukončil mi škola účet v Teams zrušila. Takže konverzace s ním, jinými vyučujícími a spolužáky, na které to byla často i jediná komunikační metoda, už asi nikdy nuvidím. Fakt super...
Tak jen pro ostatní, abyste si své školní/pracovní či jiné účty v Teams a podobných platformách nějakým způsobem zálohovali. Je to taková nedozírná nevhoda přechodu z klasického e-mailu na proprietární organizací ovládané komunikátory. Mě to nenapadlo. 🤷
